Le 26 mars 1777, le marquis de La Fayette, alors \u00e2g\u00e9 de 19 ans, s'embarque en secret pour l'Am\u00e9rique, au m\u00e9pris des ordres de son Roi et sous la menace d'\u00eatre arr\u00eat\u00e9. \u00c0 Bordeaux, il embarque sur La Victoire \u2013 un navire qu'il a affr\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 ses frais, avec \u00e0 son bord un \u00e9quipage et des armes \u2013 et met les voiles sur l'Am\u00e9rique afin de partir combattre pour la libert\u00e9 aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des rebelles am\u00e9ricains.<\/p>

To honor La Fayette\u2019s inaugural voyage to America, this first edition of Two Worlds Whiskey was crafted specifically for America\u2019s first ally, France. La Victoire edition features a core of bold, creamy 14-year-old straight bourbon whiskey balanced with delicate, fruity 4-year old straight bourbon whiskey. Le 26 mars 1777, le marquis de la Fayette met le cap sur l\u2019Am\u00e9rique \u00e0 bord de La Victoire pour aider les rebelles am\u00e9ricains dans leur lutte pour la libert\u00e9.\nEn 1778, peu de temps apr\u00e8s que La Fayette soit parti pour la premi\u00e8re fois en Am\u00e9rique, mon anc\u00eatre William Downard rejoint la r\u00e9volution. Je travaille comme ambassadrice de marque au sein de la Maison du Whisky. J\u2019ai ainsi la chance de parcourir toute la France pour animer des masterclasses et des d\u00e9gustations pour les commer\u00e7ants, les barmans et les amateurs de whisky.\nJe d\u00e9couvre que les amateurs de whisky en France connaissent tr\u00e8s bien les whiskies d\u2019\u00c9cosse, d\u2019Irlande et du Japon, mais, qu\u2019ils n\u2019ont pas souvent eu l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de d\u00e9guster de bons whiskeys am\u00e9ricains.\nJe r\u00e9alise que la plupart des fans de whisky que j\u2019ai c\u00f4toy\u00e9, et qui avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 go\u00fbt\u00e9 un bourbon, n\u2019avaient test\u00e9 que des marques d\u2019entr\u00e9e de gamme.
