Crowdfunding in the time of Coronavirus

It is good news/bad news time here at Two Worlds Whiskey. The bad news is of course our launch party event scheduled for today at the elegant Cercle de l’Union Interalliée has been cancelled due to COVID-19.

But the good news is that our launch is still ON! Our crowdfunding campaign on KissKissBankBank is now live at twoworldswhiskey.com/reserve. You can now pre-order bottles of our first edition, La Victoire, Batch 1!

La Victoire, the first edition of Two Worlds Whiskey, is a straight bourbon whiskey bottled in France at barrel strength at 54.7% alc./vol. La Victoire, Batch 1 is an extremely limited edition, with only 2,107 bottles produced, which will be exclusively available for reservation through this crowdfunding campaign at KissKissBankBank.

The Inspiration for La Victoire, Batch 1

On March 26, 1777, the 19-year old Marquis de La Fayette set sail for America in secret in defiance of his king and under threat of arrest. He boarded La Victoire at Bordeaux—a ship he had financed and filled with men and arms at his own personal expense—and set sail for America to fight for the cause of liberty alongside the American rebels.

This singular act of courage forged an alliance that forever changed the destiny of my country, my family, and my passion; American whiskey.

To honor La Fayette’s inaugural voyage to America, this first edition of Two Worlds Whiskey was crafted specifically for America’s first ally, France. For this edition, we wanted to create a bourbon that is elegant, complex, and perfectly balanced.

To get La Victoire bottled, we have a launched our crowdfunding campaign with the objective of pre-selling 100 bottles. We need your help to make it happen! If you have been looking for ways to support small businesses in this time of Coronavirus, please consider reserving a bottle and sharing the campaign link with your friends and family who love whiskey!
