It is a tremendous delight to introduce you to Two Worlds Whiskey, the first luxury American whiskey crafted exclusively for France.
Named to honor Marquis de La Fayette, “the hero of two worlds,” Two Worlds Whiskey celebrates the historic French American alliance by sharing the best whiskey America has to offer with her first ally, France.
Work to create Two Worlds Whiskey’s first edition began more than a year ago. The packaging has all been designed, the barrels have been purchased, the bourbon has been crafted and shipped from Kentucky to France, and the customs duties and taxes have all been paid.
A small batch of just 11 barrels, La Victoire, Batch 1 features a core of complex 14-year-old straight bourbon whiskey balanced with a delicate, fruity four-year old straight bourbon whiskey and rounded out by a creamy five-year old straight bourbon whiskey.
The result is a decadent whiskey with notes of toffee, tarte tatin, pastry cream, fresh pear, apricot, nutmeg, and clove spice that pairs beautifully with dessert and excels as a digestif.
La Victoire was batched in Kentucky in December 2019 and arrived at our bottling site in the Cognac region in March. With your help, Batch 1 will soon be bottled and packaged for release in France!
We will be launching our first edition whiskey on Friday, March 20! Bottles will be available for pre-order through our crowdfunding campaign on KissKissBankBank, reachable at: twoworldswhiskey.com/reserve.
To celebrate our launch, we will be hosting a launch party at the Cercle de l’Union Interalliée on Friday, March 20 at 7:00 pm. We will kick off the event with a panel discussion on the impact of the French-American alliance on our respective drinking cultures, with panelists:
